Plan the court time your program needs
Staff can reserve court time with a named block, or schedule a clinic with capacity and registration. Those events appear alongside member reservations, lessons, and closures.
Court blocks for open play
If your club runs open play, your team can block the courts and time it needs. The block protects that time from member reservations. Player rotation and on-court grouping remain with your organizers.
Clinics with registration
For an instructor-led program, create a clinic with a roster and capacity. Members register in the app. When the clinic is full, its waitlist can fill a place after a cancellation.
Offer openings to waiting groups
When every active pickleball court is unavailable at the chosen time, a member can join an availability pool with their group. It waits for any eligible pickleball court, rather than a particular court number.
Offers require a matching time and the full requested duration under the club's settings. The next group receives a held offer with a countdown. Accepting books the court; a decline or timeout advances the queue.
Availability pools help groups get a court. They do not organize open-play rotations, assign partners, or run a drop-in player queue.
Keep members informed
Court changes, program updates, and held offers use the in-app inbox, push, and email. Pros can also write announcements to selected audiences.
Only head-pro-authored announcements can use SMS, and only for members who opted in. SMS is metered by carrier segment. Automatic booking and program notifications never consume those credits.

Can CourtKeeper schedule pickleball open play?
Your team can create a court block for the open-play courts and time. Organizers still manage player rotation and grouping. CourtKeeper does not provide an automated open-play rotation engine.
How do pickleball availability pools work?
When all active pickleball courts are unavailable at a selected time, a group can wait for any eligible court. A matching opening is held on a countdown for the next group to accept.
Can members register for pickleball clinics?
Yes. Members can register for clinics with available capacity or join the clinic waitlist. A cancellation can promote the next waitlisted member.
Do court changes send text messages?
No. Automatic court and program notifications use in-app, push, and email. SMS is only for head-pro-authored announcements to opted-in members and consumes SMS credits.
Can one club schedule tennis and pickleball?
Yes. The schedule supports both sports. Your plan counts active tennis and pickleball courts together; shared or convertible physical courts can be reviewed with CourtKeeper before a plan is agreed.
